On the evening of May 29, 2009, six officers donated their time for the Project Graduation BBQ. This is an annual event sponsored by the school, parents and police department to raise money for a substance free party attended by students on graduation night. The parents do an enormous amount of work and organization for the event and work hard to sell raffle tickets and otherwise raise funds for this party. Officers took part by cooking steaks, lobster, chicken and ribs. We were glad to be able to participate again this year and make this event a success.
