Interlibrary loan is a cooperative system by which patrons may borrow materials not owned by the Lebanon libraries from other libraries in and out of state. To participate in interlibrary loan (ILL), a patron must have a current Lebanon library card and must have no outstanding overdue items, unpaid fees or fines.
Patrons may request up to four titles at one time. Requests may be done by phone (448-2459); by Fax (448-0696); or in person at the Reference desk; or by email.
The Lebanon Public Library respects all restrictions placed on borrowed materials by loaning libraries, such as in-library use only, shortened loan periods, and no renewals. Occasionally, a lending library will charge a fee for service.
It is crucial that all ILL materials be returned on time. A $1.00 per day fine ($5.00 maximum fine per person) will be charged for materials kept past their due date. |
