Kilton Library Project

The Project Site
The Kilton Library will be built on Main Street in West LebanonThe site for the Kilton Library Project is on a 1.24 acre lot on Main Street in West Lebanon, across from the West Lebanon Library. Funds to purchase the land came from the estate of longtime West Lebanon residents James and Willena Kilton. To supplement the Kilton endowment, a capital campaign is now underway before construction can begin.

Tappe Associates, Inc. of Boston are the project architects. The drawings presented on this page are renderings of the proposed library done by Tappe. The plan calls for a building with 15,000 square feet of space. This will include an outdoor reading garden; ample children's and adult services sections; a large meeting room; an art gallery; and separate library parking.
