MISSION:
To consistently and effectively serve the taxpayers of the Lebanon community in the area of building safety, zoning and health; to consistently and effectively administer the permit process; to implement new techniques in today’ s fast changing world; and to offer assistance to all residents, businesses and visitors whenever necessary.
SERVICES PROVIDED:
Issuance of Building/Zoning Permits; certificates of occupancy; collection of building permit, and zoning board filing fees.
Plan Review and inspection of construction projects, restaurants, foster homes, and day care centers for code compliance.
Investigation of building safety, zoning and health related issues.
Serve as staff support to the Zoning Board and is responsible for the preparation of the Zoning Board of Adjustment agenda, the mailing of and posting of Zoning Board public notices, the finalization of adopted Zoning Board decisions; the recording, and keeping of Zoning Board records.
Provide assistance to residents and businesses: zoning and building code questions and information, direct public contact and written correspondence. |
